Verizon will release two Samsung Android devices, Fascinate, and Gem soon. Verizon Fascinate is a sibling device of Samsung Galaxy S which has the same spec with other Galaxy Ss, 4″ Super AMOLED display, 1Ghz humming bird CPU, 720 HD video recording and TouchWiz 3.0 UI. However, Samsung takes a slightly different styling approach with the Verizon version by replacing the standard dark framing of the Galaxy S with a metallic body that adds a bit of flashiness to this sleek and sexy handset.
There are many articles that have stated about same Samsung Galaxy S but different skin and name and yet there are those that inflate facts such as DLNA, Hot Spot, and super AMOLED technology — which we all know are available with all Samsung Galaxy S variants. Often those articles are to excite you to remember the uniqueness of the phone compared to other brands.
Only yesterday AT&T announced the Samsung Captivate (which is their version of the Samsung Galaxy S), rumors have flooded about the Samsung Galaxy Q. Korea Times got a hold of a key partner in Samsung’s plans who shared, “Galaxy Q is based on the Android mobile platform and will be all about providing simplicity in user experience, although it will still feature a full QWERTY keypad. The full touch-screen phone will also come with advanced social media features.” We have yet to know how Samsung Galaxy Q will look like but expect a form mighty close to Blackberry… (does Samsung Jackie sound familiar?)
Samsung Galaxy S will have 512 MB RAM.
Samsung is about to launch the flagship device, Galaxy S, during the summer through 4 major US carriers, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. Besides prominent features such as, the most bright Super AMOLED display, the thinnest (9.9mm) smartphone, and the fastest CPU (1GHz), new specifications are confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S will include 512MB of RAM, the largest on a smartphone to date.
The online retailer Expansys that the Samsung Galaxy S for pre-order for £479.99. The shipment were expected to start on June 1st.
