Samsung Mobile Innovator continues to promote their native Windows Mobile SDK for devices like Samsung Omnia II, Omnia Pro, Jack, T*Omnia II and Oz Omnia.

Samsung Mobile Innovator seems to be busy at work with development of a bettering SDK for the Windows Mobile platform. Since launched in early March, we have seen multiple releases. And in a short 9 months, Samsung Mobile Innovator has today released SDK 2.1 for Windows Mobile devices.

Samsung announced another developer stimulation beside offering its own SDK or Samsung App store challenge. Samsung and Handmark will provide new global venture fund driving innovation in Mobile game development for Samsung Application Store. Companies and/or individuals selected will receive up to $250,000 each to fund the development of winning ideas for next generation Samsung mobile phones.

Samsung Innovator has released the Samsung Mobile Widget Specification Document along with its SDK. Samsung described making a widget as easy, where a mid-level developer can write one in a day.

Samsung is on the forefront in updating and releasing their Mobile SDK, setting themselves apart from HTC or other Windows Mobile device makers. Following last week’s release of Windows Mobile 6.5, Samsung have quickly prepared its developers with the version 2.0 SDK (find it here).

Samsung Mobile developer portal, Samsung Innovator, has released ‘Samsung Mobile Widget Platform’. It allows developers to author widgets which are optimized to run on Samsung Touch Wiz UI.
