Unusual sightings about Samsung Galaxy Q suspected to invade Blackberry’s territory and Samsung Omnia HD appears to be Microsoft’s favorite Windows 7 platform.
Only yesterday AT&T announced the Samsung Captivate (which is their version of the Samsung Galaxy S), rumors have flooded about the Samsung Galaxy Q. Korea Times got a hold of a key partner in Samsung’s plans who shared, “Galaxy Q is based on the Android mobile platform and will be all about providing simplicity in user experience, although it will still feature a full QWERTY keypad. The full touch-screen phone will also come with advanced social media features.” We have yet to know how Samsung Galaxy Q will look like but expect a form mighty close to Blackberry… (does Samsung Jackie sound familiar?)
Samsung Omnia Pro B7610, one of the latest Omnia series released this year is now available in European markets. This is the second release in a week for Samsung. The Omnia Pro B7610 carries similar features as the Omnia II. It does have a slide-out QWERTY keyboard as well as a set of professional interface for business users.
Samsung mobile has revamped its Samsung Omnia Official Site in accordance to the launch of Windows Mobile 6.5 (previous design). The five devices: Omnia II, Omnia Pro, Omnia Lite, and Omnia, are now up for display on the site. It provides not only information on the device but also emulator allowing user to try it out on the website.
Samsung Omnia Pro (B7610) is amongst the lineup of Omnia devices that are scheduled for release. The slider Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional device with a QWERTY keyboard is equipped with the latest AMOLED display on its 3.5 inch screen. Currently only available in parts of Europe, the device should be arriving in the States soon.
Omnia II has been introduced to the Asian island of Singapore through an exclusive preview event coordinated by PPCSG (PocketPC Singapore) and Samsung. Power to the people here in this example where an online forum is chosen to host the preview event. Amongst the finger food, lucky draws and special event discounts, the Omnia II as well as the Omnia Pro was revealed.
