Samsung and Nokia, the two leading smartphone manufacturer has seemingly opposite strategies in the smartphone market. Nokia have set plans to reduce the number of smartphone models developed by 50% in 2010. On the other hand, Samsung has scheduled to double their smartphone model next year.
WeatherBug is a mobile product of the online weather service. It is one of the first applications that we have downloaded through the Windows Marketplace. The application is fairly comprehensive in providing detail weather information including daily weather conditions, multi-day forecast, radar and satellite maps, and more.
We’ve seen many weather-related application been developed on the PocketPCs. Some as widgets, some simply applications. Not much has been covered for the smartphone. NRG is not just another weather forecast application, but a panel that can be added to the Home Screen’s panel view.
