The dust seems to be settling on the whole topic of Flash running on Android, there’s just way too many indication that point towards the integration of Flash on Android.

Here’s a statement released by Flash-based CTO Kevin Lynch:

We look forward to delivering Flash Player 10.1 for Android smartphones as a public preview at Google I/O in May, and then a general release in June. From that point on, an ever increasing number and variety of powerful, Flash-enabled devices will be arriving which we hope will provide a great landscape of choice.

The Google I/O event seems to be the rumored date for the major announcements, with Android’s next platform release, Froyo also expected to be included in the release.

As Adobe look to place its mobile version of Flash on multiple platforms, it was inevitable that Windows Phone 7 be the next in line. Adobe have officially announced its plan for Flash to run on Android later this year, Windows Phone 7 was included in the lineup as well.

Here’s a statement from Adobe’s Principal Product Manager Mike Chambers:

I am excited about Flash Player 10.1 and Adobe AIR 2.0 and all of the opportunities that they will make available to Flash developers across multiple platforms (desktop, Android, Palm, Windows Phone 7, RIM, etc…).

Adobe Flash will certainly add another dimension to any mobile platform. It will be interesting to see how Flash will co-exist with it supposed rival, Silverlight. Assuming Microsoft have approved this accessory, it’s likely that it will be a complimentary addition.

Fruity is a puzzle game application jakobdam on XDA. If you have played Bejeweled, this is very similar. Rather than some gems, you are using orange, grapes and bananas. The game will require Flash Lite to run, which you can download here. The game is easy to run and fun to play.

When launched, you are brought to the game menu where you can access New Game, view High Scores, Setup your player name or view Credit. To start off, of course you would want to setup your own player name. Unlike many other applications, you will be entering the username with the built-in keyboard from the application (mainly because this is running on Flash).

When you are done, click on New Game to begin playing. On the top are the levels off difficulties and below are the various levels of draws you may have (how many times the levels are filled up). You can start with Easy and “move 20″ to get a hang of it.

It’s easy to play and very much finger-friendly. If Bejeweled is too much for you to pay, this freeware will definitely be worth your while. Give it a try today!

Flash contents are everywhere on the Internet. Animated files that are sometimes interactive are fun to watch. You can easily create a “motion picture” with the aid of Adobe’s Flash. Now playing on the desktop is no problem, but what if you wanted to show your latest creation to a friend, using your Samsung Omnia? You can.

It is not difficult to do so, all you need to do is to first install the Flash Player ActiveX that will allow your device to run Flash files (.swf). And then install an application that will actually open these files.

One of the Samsung-Omnia.org thread has explored the possibilities and provided download links to the above 2 pre-requisites. If you’re creating flash files and wants to carry it with you on your Samsung Omnia, it is now possible!

If you have been drooling over having the ability to watch YouTube on your Samsung Windows Mobile device, you can rejoice as Google releases the YouTube application for the platform.

You can watch your favorite YouTube clips from any mobile browser simply by going to m.youtube.com. The application currently launches the mobile Windows Media playerwhen you click on ‘Watch Video’. There has been rumors that Silverlight might be used in the future to view YouTube videos instead of Flash.

The YouTube application also allows you to login for customized video feeds.
