ZLaunchy utilizes the dialer phone-pad to search through programs on your Windows Mobile devices. I’m calling it a gem in my application collection. For users who have used Quicksilver or Launchy on the desktop, this is a similar application aside from the phonepad and that its on the mobile device.
Avatar developer who also released the iContact and iDialer has released Avatar, a finger-friendly photo contact dialer. The application while not in its sharpest form, serves its purpose well. Once launched following installation, you can browse through contacts and perform actions when clicked on.
Making phone calls is the most basic functionality of a phone. And on Windows Mobile Pocket PCs, that functionality can be fully maximized through some of the 3rd party applications. The photo contact dialers has become popular amongst PocketPC users for its visual aesthetics and ergonomic and finger-friendly designs.
That’s right, since it was first developed, iDialer has come a long way to become an integratable application that is not just merely another phone dialer. And aside from the calling benefits, you can also improve the aesthetics of the application with the skinnable skins for both VGA and QVGA screen resolutions as well as portrait and landscape mode.
