Samsung is about to launch the flagship device, Galaxy S, during the summer through 4 major US carriers, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. Besides prominent features such as, the most bright Super AMOLED display, the thinnest (9.9mm) smartphone, and the fastest CPU (1GHz), new specifications are confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S will include 512MB of RAM, the largest on a smartphone to date.
The online retailer Expansys that the Samsung Galaxy S for pre-order for £479.99. The shipment were expected to start on June 1st. This will be a great advantage for Europeans who does not want to wait for other carriers to pick it up. But for Americans, it doesn’t matter since T-mobile, AT&T, Sprint (launch in June), and Verizon (later this year) will all carry it. Samsung has announced a new Android 2.1 phone named Samsung Galaxy A (SHW-M100s), not to be mistaken with the Samsung Galaxy S, to be released in Korea today. The name ‘Galaxy A’ consists of the word ‘Galaxy’ which is Samsung’s global Android phone name’s prefix. ‘A’ stands for ‘Android’ and ‘Anycall’, Samsung mobile phone’s brand name in Korea.
