Android 4.3 Update Coming to the Galaxy S4 in October S3 and Note II in tow

One of the complaints of the Android ecosystem is the fragmented updated environment which leaves many phones in the proverbial Android stone age. Whether that be Ice Cream Sandwich, Honeycomb, Gingerbread or heaven forbid—Froyo, it sucks to be a build or more behind. Lucky for us, Samsung’s doing their due diligence to makes sure we are staying caught up with Google’s latest releases.


Based on a leaked roadmap by French carrier SFR, the S4, SIII, Note II and HTC One will all be upgraded to Android 4.3 in the coming months with the S4 positioned at the start of the queue:



While there aren’t any specific release dates for U.S. carriers, we can expect that Samsung ought to be near finished with U.S. 4.3 ROMs as well. Stay tuned for the latest updates about device updates!
