Last month we reviewed a unique photo application called CameraAce, that offered a comprehensive suite of photo editing tools as well as a new twist on photo management.

The latest update overhauls the user interface with a “Camera Workbench UI,” so that creating and using Photography Themes is easier and more intuitive. Now when you fire up the application, each preset Photography Theme you have created will have an information panel displaying gall of your settings:

To make things crystal clear, the latest version also has a tutorial on how to set things up. Although we didn’t see any significant lag in the application as a whole, some of the photo processing times were running a bit longer on older devices. Luckily, the devs have  improved the performance and cleaned up any bugs.

Gallery performance and navigation has been improved as well:

Here’s a quick look at all of the updates in the 2.0+ update:

  • Graphical tutorial added
  • Performance improved
  • Bug fixes
  • Camera workbench UI
  • Photography Theme feature
  • Slideshow mode with background music

The quality of life enhancements paired with the new Camera Workbench UI have really refined and polished an already powerful application. Head over to our review for more in-depth coverage of all of CameraAce’s features, or check out their new appsite. To download the latest version of this app for your Samsung Android device, head over to the Google Play Store.
