Verizon’s taking a trip to the wonderful land of Android and 4G this Spring and we got our hands on their roadmap! On different points along the map we can see a trio of Samsung devices including the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S II and the Droid Charge. Alongside these it looks like the Samsung Mifi mobile hotspot will be arriving right around the corner at the end of March. This will provide a cheaper alternative to buying the Thunderbolt for those who want to access Verizon’s 4G LTE network.
We can see from the table above, our predictions on Samsung’s 4G LTE device appearing early April have been corroborated by the roadmap. Confirmed as the Droid Charge, this device features similar internal hardware to the Galaxy S line but with a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED screen and 4G LTE compatibility. It looks like we are still at least a month away from seeing the Samsung Galaxy S II, but judging from the refinement shown in yesterdays video/article on the TouchWiz 4.0 interface, there is a lot to be excited about. Are you guys going to get Charged up in April, or wait until May for the Galaxy S II device? Leave a comment below!
