Samsung Galaxy S will have 512 MB RAM.

Samsung is about to launch the flagship device, Galaxy S, during the summer through 4 major US carriers, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. Besides prominent features such as, the most bright Super AMOLED display, the thinnest (9.9mm) smartphone, and the fastest CPU (1GHz), new specifications are confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S will include 512MB of RAM, the largest on a smartphone to date.

Nexus One is comparably has the same amount of RAM and rumors from Samsung sites and others have been speculating between either 256 MB or 512 MB. But now it has been finalized that the pre-released device has 256MB RAM but the commercialized products will come with 512MB.

We thought the phone was great enough even with a quarter gig of RAM on board but now we are absolutely convinced that the Galaxy S is the ultimate Android smartphone so far!
