Samsung bada developers can win a share of the $2,700,000 prize and have their app featured prominently on Samsung Apps that exist in 75 countries. The competition prizes are as follows:

- 8 categories to enter (Mates and dates, Entertain me, Freaks and geeks, Easy life, In the workplace, On the road, Older and wiser, Down to business.)
- Prizes in each category: 1st prize: $100,000 — 2nd prize: $60,000 — 3rd prize: $40,000 (All prizes are in USD..)
Schedule
- Registration is open from May 17th until Aug 31st
- 1st submission opens on June 1st and closes on Aug 31st
- Winners will be announced on Dec 16th
Update to the newest SDK now!
You’ll need to register for a free account before downloading, and the SDK requires Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7, 1.4GB of RAM, and 1.8GB of disk space.
This version features: a plethora of APIs, samples, IDE, UI builder, Simulator, debugger and etc.
The 1.0.0 final release is expected this month.
