Samsung Omnia II: Quick File Transfer with Mass Storage

How to transfer large file between PC and Omnia II fast.

Both the Samsung Omnia and the Omnia II has their own mass storage. To take advantage of file transferring on the mass storage, it would be much faster to do so with Mass Storage connection instead of ActiveSync.

How to change the settings

All you need to do is connect your device with the desktop and go to this setting to turn on Mass Storage:

Start > Setting > General setting > USB Connection > check the ‘Mass storage‘ box

Note: In the setting, you may choose both the internal ‘My storage’ and ‘Storage Card’.
