Samsung Widget Guide/SDK and Widget Store

Samsung Innovator has released the Samsung Mobile Widget Specification Document along with its SDK. Samsung described making a widget as easy, where a mid-level developer can write one in a day.

To prove their statement, Samsung have conducted the Samsung Mobile Widget Developer Camp (back in September) with up to $20,000 prize.

The selected widgets together with the 50 pre-installed free widget will be on Samsung Widget store. The store will be available on the Samsung Omnia II, coming soon to Verizon Wireless.
