Battery life is an issue that, for many people determines the quality of a mobile device. Have a fancy gear with no battery to enjoy it can be quite a let down. While released hardwares may not be easily modified to improve its performance, there are some registry tweaks that you may try to increase your device’s battery life.

Registry editor (i.e. PHM Editor)
Registry Address

- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\L2TP1\Params
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\PPTP1\Params
Value Name(s)
- DisablePowerManagement
Value Data
- Change from 1 to 0.

Battery life decreases instead of increasing, so this does not work for me. Reverting to the old situation.
