These days, connecting to the internet is as basic and intuitive as brushing your teeth or wearing your pants. For some people, before they do anything in the morning, they will head onto Internet first. While we are not encouraging that, we did try using WiFi Monster to make connecting to the Internet through WiFi.

WiFi Monster is an application that uses icons that are independent of the standard Windows Wi-Fi Manager’s layout. And at CareAce, we appreciate that. The buttons are mostly intuitive, but the unresponsive nature of it does make you wonder if your actions were being processed.

To begin, you can decide if you want to have Wi-Fi turned on each time the application is loaded. This may speed up connection speed. Going forward you will be informed about the status of your WiFi. To connect, simply press the globe icon and wait for the lists of the networks in range. Tons of information is visible on the closeby connections, choose one and enter credential when applicable.

The connection should be established in under a minute, beyond that the application has a default time-out where you will be brought back to the list of networks.

If you are tired of using the standard Windows Mobile Wi-Fi manager, maybe its time to give WiFi Monster a try.
