Currency conversion on the go is highly desirable by users who travel frequently and to places where their home currency is not accepted. With internet access, you may update the currency rate anytime, anywhere, so you will know if 5 British pound for a Fuji apple is worth it.
Installation
Easy installation, Device or Storage doesn’t matter.
- Download the CAB file and transfer it to your device. Do not open the CAB file as if it is a ZIP file.
- On your device, launch your file explorer and locate the CAB file.
- Tap on the CAB file to start installation.
Other Notes
- If currency update module does not work, please download the currency file here, save as “currency.xml” and place it in the same folder as the program.
- If the file downloaded by the update module is outdated, you can also use the link above to trigger the update. You can refer to this blog entry for more information on why this is so.
Usability
- Simply choose the three currencies you wish to view from the dropdown lists.
- Type in the amount to convert for any of the three currencies.
- To get the latest currency rates, go to Menu=>Update.
Features
- Supports screen captures in BMP*, GIF*, JPG, PNG formats (*not on all devices)
- Add captions to screen captures
- Obscure sensitive information in screen captures
- Choose the saved image file name
Pros
- Capturing screenshot in 2-clicks on a WM device is marvelous
- Easily editing screenshots and apply changes
- Allows preview of screenshots
Cons
The application is rather useful, but the interface is not quite finger-friendly for PocketPCs that uses Touch Screen.
