Do you get calls during your sleep that totally throw you off your sleeping schedule? Or not realizing that the battery was drained by an overnight Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection? With the ability to schedule connections such as cellphone, Wi-Fi nad Bluetooth , you won’t have to worry about drained batteries or sleepless nights.
While we do like to have the best of both worlds, we are at a cross-road of choosing a working application that has less features or an “in-process” application that has all the features. Here is what I mean:
- RadioOff: Only allows configuration with cellphone radio AND works on Samsung PocketPCs (Omnia and Epix)
- Auto OnOff: Allows configuration with cellphone, W-Fi and Bluetooth radios BUT does not work on Samsung PocketPCs (Omnia and Epix)
We have contacted the developer regarding the issue with Auto OnOff. We are writing about it for its potential, but in terms of practicality, we will always be going for RadioOff. Nevertheless, do give either applications a try and let us know what you think!
Features
- Enable schedule turn on and off Cellphone, Wifi, and  Bluetooth connection.

Auto On Off
According to our test on Samsung Omnia AutoOnOff doesn’t work. However, its sister product RadioOff is working on both Samsung Omnia and Epix. The Radio Off is the same but manuplating Wi-Fi connection. Until the developer fix the problem, we will be opting for RadioOff.

Both programs seem to require a more recent version of .Net than the one which ships with WinMo 6.1 (on Samsung i760).
Sadly .net 3.5 CF is approx 6Meg and putting it on the storage card is not recommended.
@Eric, thanks for noting that. Added a note.
