Alongside with the clock, calculator, calendar, and other default pre-installed applications on a Windows Mobile device, is the Office Mobile. While the primary use may be regarded as fairly basic, it does have some trick up its sleeve for more advance usage. The Windows Mobile blog shared ways of using the application through an user-scenario.

In this guide, the focus has been placed in using Mobile Excel and syncing it with the desktop. This involves creating a preset template on both mobile and desktop as well as utilizing the macro feature for a more automated process.

We do like how convenient the article have described the experience, but it does take some preparation and understanding to get the application to run the way you liked it to. Something else we’d hope for is the over-the-air sync that some have mentioned. This way, we will be saving a step of setting up partnership through ActiveSync and the whole connection step.

In summary, there are huge possibilities in conjuring the use of Excel for both mobile and desktop. If you’re using loads of spreadsheet, this will certainly be helpful to you and you may now truly carry your office in your pocket.

I recently bought this phone. I have no idea on how to create a word or excel document. After looking at your website, is it even possible to create your own document or do u have to jus download documents?
