This is a marvelous piece of freeware for the fans of any sports. You will find a fine collection of updated news, up-to-the-minute scores, schedules, standings and more. Currently, all nine major sports updates are availabe, including Auto Racing, MLB, NBA, NFL, NCAA Basketball,  NCAA Football, Golf, NHL and Tennis. You have the liberty to choose the sports you would like to be updated in as well as the day and time these updates are performed. If you like any of these sports, you should definitely give it a try-run because we know you will like it.

Installation

Installation is easy but tricky. The developer state that the application is available for Windows Mobile but didn’t provide further detail on proceeding with the installation. Bottom line, installation on the Storage will NOT work. You will have to install it on your device to benefit from this application.

Design

The design has a very basic, web-based feel to it. If you have previous experience with WAP access, then this will feel close to home. On your smartphone, simply scroll to the link to get access, pocket pc users can simply tap and click.

Despite the basic design, it is fairly intuitive and informational. Each link is clearly stated or accompanied by the icon of the sport.

Usability

If you look at the application like a mind-map with branches spreading, it would be a rather neatly knitted one. There are not much surprises at the end of a link (only if Denver lose to New Orleans). You will land where you wanted and find the updated information as promised. The site is very compact and usable wherever it may be applicable.

Cons

The UI always have room to improve. While this application is fine as it is, it would certainly be more desirable if the UI is enhanced.

Should I get it?

If you are a sports fan with data-plan, you can keep track of information on all your favorite sports team in one application. You should get it as it would not cost you a dime aside from the time you spent downloading and installing.
