Having the correct white balance, ISO (sensitivity to lighting), amongst many others will make a significant impact on the quality of an image. Samsung Omnia, boosting its 5-megapixel is certainly one of the leading camera phones out there. It would be rather wasteful if the component is not utilized effectively. And so, we are here to help you make the best of it!

So it all come down to getting the best setting for the Omnia base on what is available in order to take better pictures. We have made some reference, went through some test and came down to the following. Give it a try, throw in some opinions and hopefully we will be utilizing it effective.

The Before/After Picture Test

In order to make a more convincing statement, we have tested the above settings by taking two shots of the same pictures (twice!). The picture on the left is before the settings were changed, and the right ones are taken when the settings have been changed. Feel free to click on the thumbnails to enlarge image.

Note: It is the device’s default to reset the settings each time you exit the Camera application. So be sure to double-check the settings before taking pictures!

Give it a try today and feel free to give us any feedback on your attempts to take better pictures!

Hi, I just thought that I should comment on this. I did not find much difference using this set of settings and it is really disappointing being not able to save the settings.

However, I do find that the SCN : Fall setting is great and the colors are vibrant compared to the original setting.

@MCNOR: Yes it seem like the Anti-Shake does not make much of a difference. The main improvement is with the color and sharpness of the image of a still picture.
