Why spend tens of dollars paying for a cradle to support your Samsung Omnia when you can make by yourself in under 3 minutes with no money spent? We here at CareAce.net tries to explore different ways to enhance a user’s experience. And with many hoping to get a stand for their device, we tried to make one ourselves.

It’s easy, all you need is 2 cards strong enough to withstand the weight of your Samsung Omnia and 1 scissors to perform the cutting.

Checklist

  1. Scissors
  2. Two hard material card (such as expired credit card or phone cards)

For this project, I am going to use a couple of Las Vegas hotel card keys.

First, we will begin by cutting the card as seen below. And make sure you also leave a cutting on two of the pieces so they may be joint together in the next step.

Secondly, fit the cards into each other through the cutting. They would support each other, so they firmly stay in an angle of 90 degrees.

This is how the cards look when they are joint together.

And finally, its done! It should be strong enough to support your Samsung Omnia.

Enjoy the cradle, sit back and enjoy the movie clips!
