There are a wide variety of things that you may be able to perform on your Windows Mobile device. Shayder from XDA developer has made modification to the Today screen in a way that you can have the Start Bar at the bottom and Task Bar on the top.
How convenient is this? It is only as convenient as it is applicable to you, the user.
It is great to have a Task Bar which shows clearly which application are running and closing them down is a fairly easy task from there on. You can also easily switch between applications by simply clicking on them. Want something minimized? Click on the minimize icon. It works almost like your Windows PC.
I do have a critic about where the Start Menu is displayed when Start is clicked. Rather than displaying above the Start, the Start Menu seems to be floating on the top left side of the screen (which is its default location). You can see what I mean on the 2nd image. For relevance, I’d prefer the Start Menu to be more attached to the Start button.
Give it a try and see if something you like!
