Losing things is not fun, and in the 21st century, this includes electronic media things such as images, documents, videos or audio. DiskDigger promises to recover any files of any types of media, as long as they are readable by your computer.

While this application is geared more towards the desktop computer, it can be used on USB flash drives, memory card and certainly include your Samsung Windows Phones. So if you have a lost file, use DiskDigger to dig it back up!

Simply go through the following steps to recover any media file you’d like to recover:

1. In order to include your Samsung Windows Phone in the ‘drives to scan‘, you have to change the USB Connection Mode to Mass Storage
2. Select the drive that represents your Windows Phone’s Storage Card and click ‘Next’ (Fig 1)
3. Now you can choose the File Type(s) you’d like to recover. All the types are selected by default (Fig 2)
4. DiskDigger will then dig through the Storage Card for the media content you have specified (Fig 3)
5. Once the process is finished you can select the media file(s) and click on the ‘Save Picture‘ (or Document, Files for other content type) to save the recovered files*.*The files will not have its original name.
6. And you are done! Just go to the output folder to retrieve the file(s).

Now you don’t have to worry about that picture you have accidentally deleted, you can always retrieve it!
