Extend the Ring time before Call Forwarding

You are running across the dining room, jumping over your dog, slipping and sliding your way across the living room and on the final leap you got to your Samsung Smartphone. And that’s when the ringing stopped and the call was forwarded to your voice mail.

You clocked yourself taking about 20 seconds from the time the phone rang to the time you answered the phone. After some relentless calculation, it seems like if you had another 10 seconds, you will be comfortably walking rather than endangering your property or yourself. With your Samsung Smartphone, you are free to extend that 10 seconds and make them yours.

To do so simply go to your Settings, then under the Personal tab, choose Phone. Next choose Services and select Call Forwarding. Click on Get Settings and it will take you to the Call Forwarding setting page where you can freely adjust the duration for Forward After from 5 seconds to 30 seconds (5 seconds interval). The default value is 20 seconds.

With the extra 10 seconds, you may even have time to get yourself a cup of coffee before answering the call. :)

Hi,

Your information was very helpful. Thank you.

Do you know if we can cancel the call forwarding if “no answer” out (altogether)? That is uncheck the box.
