How to assign an application to speed dial

Speed dial can be used not only to quickly dial numbers in your contact list, but also launch applications with the touch of a button.  In fact, you can assign anything in the Start menu to speed dial.


As an example, here is how to assign an application to speed dial:


    1.  Navigate to the application you want on speed dial



    2.  Press the right soft key for Menu and select Add Speed Dial
 

 

    3.  From the Add Speed Dial menu, you can change the name the new speed dial is saved under or the assigned key, from 2-99 (0 and 1 are reserved)

 

 

  

 

    4.  Press the left soft key for Done to save the new speed dial





To quickly launch your application via speed dial, press and hold the assigned speed dial number.  If it is a two digit number, tap the first number and hold down the second number until your application launches.
